Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers

Since New Jersey adopted the Common Core State Standards in June, 2010, Mendham Borough Schools has worked to provide our teachers with the tools needed to meet the high expectations which the math and English Language Arts standards have set. Included in this ongoing process is preparation for the next generation of standardized testing once again this spring.

New Jersey has joined a consortium of 14 states which will be utilizing COMPUTER-BASED testing devised by the Partnership for Assessments of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC). These assessments will measure attainment of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and student preparedness for college and careers.
This means that all students currently in grades 3-8 will be taking the "new version of the NJASK" on a computer. As a result, Mendham Borough Schools will continue to find ways to help our students successfully navigate technology as they demonstrate what they know, understand, and are able to do.
